WELCOME!
WELCOME! I have cross stitched, crocheted and knitted for over 35 years. And have enjoyed every minute(even the frogging it(ripping out stiches)! All stitchers know that frogging it, means a stitcher is striving for a perfect project. Mine may not be perfect in every way, but this is what makes a project original. Hopefully you will enjoy cruising through my project pics. Thank you for visiting! Deb the Happy Stitcher
And now for a post script! Some have been asking how I can complete over 600 projects. I have a secret about that! I was a team driver with my husband for almost 18 years. I had already stitched many years before taking up this occupation. Being a captive audience in a truck for 8 weeks at a time, I found that I could carry many projects and stitch many hours. Needed something to do beside drive and try to sleep in mid air on rough roads. Well...the mid air was not too bad. The crash landing onto a small matress with a plyboard foundation was the problem. So I dove headlong into stitching and my dear husband supported my stitching habit full force. So, he used to take me to the local needle shop and help me choose projects. And just closed his eyes when the bill was rung up! I am a very lucky lady! It is either that, or he figured as long as I had a needle in my hand I would not complain too much about the long weeks on the road...I very much appreciate all the coments. Have a wonderful day!

A KISS FOR A SNOWMAN WIP
I am having a great time stitchng this piece. It will be about 7 inches by 7 inches when finished. I am seeing the merit in stitching smaller projects! Already have a frame in hand for this one when its finished. Also seeing the meririt in the newer kits from dimensions. Wonderful with the presorted threads on color cards. Have many more kits to stitch and other WIP's. A case of my eyes are quicker than my hands!
